There are plenty of wonderful places to enjoy a meal or grab a quick bite to eat at.
From dining in the jungle to cruising down the river, here are some of Suffolk's most quirky restaurants.
River Cruise Restaurants, Ipswich
Set sail down the River Orwell and enjoy one of the more unusual, yet picturesque, dining experiences in Suffolk.
Passengers on the Allen Gardiner river cruise can enjoy their meal while passing under the Orwell Bridge and out towards Felixstowe after setting off from Ipswich.
Diners can also enjoy a separate experience on the River Alde on the Lady Florence.
With a maximum of 12 passengers on each cruise, booking is recommend.
Amigos, Bury St Edmunds
Put on your sombrero and prepare for your taste buds to be tingled at this Mexican hotspot.
Amigos in Bury St Edmunds has become incredibly popular among food lovers in Suffolk due to its delicious range of dishes.
Last year it was voted as the best Mexican restaurant in the country.
Mariners, Ipswich
Further inland is another dining experience aboard a ship at Ipswich Waterfront.
Docked in the marina, The Mariners has become one of the most popular restaurants in the town.
Diners can sample a range of quality dishes including pork loin and pan friend seabass.
Urban Jungle, Beccles
Surrounding yourself in the jungle whilst enjoying a coffee and cake sounds surreal, doesn't it?
Located in Beccles, the Urban Jungle garden centre offers a dining experience among some of the world's most exotic plants in its café.
The Botanist, Ipswich
Much like its compatriot in Beccles, The Botanist in Ipswich is another quirky restaurant in Suffolk.
The national chain has become synonymous for restaurant-goers being able to eat among a variety of plants, and opened in the Cornhill last year.
