Police are in Grayson Avenue, Pakefield, as the hunt for the men who attacked an elderly woman in her home continues.
A woman in her 80s is in hospital after two masked men broke into her home on Grayson Avenue in Pakefield, Lowestoft.
The robbers stole an orange handbag, with a silver link chain, that contained her purse, cash and keys, after forcing their way into the home and knocking the elderly woman to the ground.
This morning police patrols are continuing to be carried out along the road, with one parked vehicle and a rural van conducting reassurance patrols in the area.

The street is just a five minute walk away from the popular Pakefield cliffs, is an access road to Pakefield Carvan Park, and off the road itself is Pakefield Court - consisting of numerous one and two bedroom bungalows that are described as retirement living accommodation.
A neighbour of the lady said: "The police have been absolutely marvellous.
"They have been carrying out patrols and checking CCTV footage.
"But the worrying thing is you have to think that the majority of people living here are all elderly.
“It's terrible.
“My friend - a fellow neighbour of the lady - she is really traumatised. It has really affected her.”
Mr and Mrs Wright, who live nearby on Arbor Lane, said: “We heard she has sustained life threatening injuries - it is shocking.
“We are easy targets.
“The lady has a dog, but she would not be able to defend herself against people.
“When we moved here it was because it’s a quiet, safe place.
“Hopefully it’s a one off and something like this never happens again.”
One Pakefield resident said it was "a terrible situation".
Another said it was "shocking" to hear that the elderly woman had been robbed in her home.
Comments on Facebook have condemned the "horrific" attack, slamming those responsible as "evil", adding they hoped the victim makes a "speedy recovery" and that the attackers are caught soon.
The robbery happened at some point overnight on Friday, March 24 and Saturday morning.
Police were called at 2pm on Saturday afternoon, after the elderly woman was found lying on the ground.
She remains in hospital where "her condition is described as life threatening," according to police.
Any witnesses, anyone living in the area with CCTV or doorbell cameras or any motorists with dashcams and driving in the vicinity of the B1532 London Road, South Lowestoft, should contact police on 101.
