An elderly woman is fighting for her life after she suffered severe injuries when two masked men knocked her down as they broke into her home.
The victim, who is in her 80s, heard a noise at her front door and went to investigate, at which point the pair forced their way in, sending her to the ground.
Her handbag, containing her purse, cash and keys were taken.
The raid happened at some point on Friday evening or early Saturday morning.

However, the victim was not found until around 2pm on Saturday, at which point police were called.
The woman was discovered conscious on the floor of her home, on Grayson Avenue, Pakefield, close to the seafront.
She was taken to hospital where her condition is described as life-threatening.
Police say they do not yet have a description of the suspects. The stolen handbag is described as orange, with a silver link chain handle.
Any witnesses, anyone living in the area with CCTV or doorbell cameras or any motorists with dashcams and driving in the vicinity of the B1532 London Road, South Lowestoft, should contact police.
