Britain's most easterly Pride event will take centre stage in a prominent park later this year.
Lowestoft Town Council will be hosting Lowestoft Pride in Sparrows Nest Gardens on Saturday, August 5.
A town council spokesman said: "Our aim is to make this Pride event enjoyable for everyone with a family-friendly feel to the day.
"To make the event as open and inclusive as possible, we are asking performers to get in touch.
"Whether you're a musician, a poet or a dance group, we want to hear from you."
With "further details" about the event to be made available soon, town councillor Sonia Barker said on the town council's Facebook page: "As chair of the LTC events and comms sub committee I’m really pleased to see this come to fruition after the committee agreed to go forward with a Lowestoft Pride event on August 5 2023 - save the date."
If you are interested in performing at Sparrows Nest as part of the most easterly Pride, contact the town council via email at admin@lowestofttowncouncil.gov.uk by Friday, June 23.
