A town council will mark the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine with a special ceremony.
Having shown its support for those affected amid the ongoing Ukrainian crisis last year, as the Ukrainian Flag was raised at the Town Hall last March, an event will be held on February 24.
The Ukrainian Flag remained in place until it was replaced by the Union Flag during the mourning period in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
A Lowestoft Town Council spokesman said: "On February 24 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War.
"The invasion has caused tens of thousands of deaths on both sides.
"To mark the one-year anniversary, Lowestoft Town Council will be raising the Ukrainian Flag at Lowestoft Town Hall on Friday, February 24 2023, at noon."
A short ceremony will take place at Compass Street Pocket Park - opposite the Town Hall.
The town council expressed thanks to Froggy Hire Ltd for their help in raising the Ukrainian Flag, and to Orbit Housing for giving permission to use Compass Street Pocket Park.
