Drivers could face disruption as a section of road is set to be temporarily closed with traffic diverted for "emergency" repair work.
Suffolk Highways will be carrying out repairs to "carriageway potholes" on part of the A12 "between Blythburgh and Wangford" with a closure in place.
It will see a section of the A12 closed "from A1095 to A12 Henham" and "from A12 Blythburgh to Hill Road" for the urgent works that are due to last about two-and-a-half hours on Friday, February 10.
A diversion route will be in operation between 7.30pm and 10pm on February 10 and with the closure in place "delays are likely" for the "emergency roadworks" according to the Suffolk Roadworks map.
It states: "Urgent - carriageway potholes, 100mm.
"Part of the A12 between Blythburgh and Wangford will be closed on February 10 between 7.30pm and 10pm for pothole repairs.
"Please follow the diversion A12, B1126, A1095 and vice versa."
A diversion route of about 11.6km will be in operation as works continue throughout the temporary closure.
