Children will soon be able to have fun as a new nature-themed play area takes centre stage.
Work started last month to transform an existing play area in Lowestoft with new equipment.
The revamp at the Bentley Drive play area on the Parkhill estate in north Lowestoft began a fortnight ago.
With Lowestoft Town Council overseeing the planned play area refurbishment, details of when the play area will open are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Alongside an artist's impression of what is earmarked for the park, a post on the town council's Facebook page said: "Work on a new nature-themed play area at Bentley Drive Play Area" was under way.
A Lowestoft Town Council spokesman added: "New equipment will be installed with the busy bees working hard over the next four-weeks to get this brilli-ANT play area ready."
With the new play area set to feature new equipment, it is set to include swings, a three-way seesaw, a slide including a butterfly tile panel, a crazy hen springer and a play tower with an overhead ladder and climbing net.
