Youngsters from Scout groups across the Lowestoft district proved to be on target as they sent pins flying in their first contest of the year.
Teams from across scout groups in the district battled it out in their annual tenpin bowling competition.
Lowestoft Scouts demonstrated both skill and precision, when seven teams - representing every troop in the district - competed in the exciting tournament which was held at Richardson’s Family Bowl Centre.
Each team bowled in two games in a bid to claim top place in the contest, with their combined score counting towards the final result.
The overall winning team was from 14th Lowestoft with 1st Carlton Colville as runners-up.
Joshua, from 1st Carlton, achieved the highest individual score of the day.
The winning trophy was presented by District Commissioner Mel Buck who said that he was "impressed with the bowling skills on show" as certificates were presented by Assistant District Commissioners for Scouts Richard Brabben and Mark Green who ran the event
