Classic cars, trikes and motorbikes cruised into Lowestoft today (Sunday) as part of an annual rock and roll bonanza.
Hundreds of people descended on the Royal Green in Lowestoft to witness the popular annual Wildest Cats in Town cruise – as rock and roll enthusiasts brought 1950s music alive.
And the stunning sunshine was the perfect backdrop for scores of teddy boys and girls, who had turned out to rock along the seafront.
With live music and numerous vintage vehicles, the town mayor June Ford and hundreds of rockers welcomed special guests – veteran American rock and roll performers Hayden Thompson, Jack Scott and Gene Summers, who had all performed at Pontin's in Pakefield over the weekend – to town.
As well as the music and entertainment, there was even an appearance by the world jive champions – as the town rocked with scores of people hitting the seafront.
