Trains are running between Lowestoft and Norwich in both directions after disruption due to a failure of the Somerleyton Swing Bridge.
The bridge over the River Waveney was stuck in the open position and could not be closed forcing trains to be cancelled due to being unable to cross the water.
All trains in both directions were cancelled, but services are now returning to normal. Rail replacement buses are in place to cover the 12.05 Norwich to Lowestoft and the 12.57 Lowestoft to Norwich.
Network Rail and Greater Anglia were made aware of the problem at 12.16 and engineers on site fixed the problem within half and hour.
Services are expected to be disrupted until 13.00, with Greater Anglia advising passengers to check their website for further updates.
