There was a time when it was easy to lose track of the number of pubs in Lowestoft.
Tourists, passing fishermen and regular punters alike were fortunate to have a vast array of establishments, giving pub crawlers ample choice during a night out.
It is even said that, in the town's old beach village, every other property was home to a brewery or public house.
Modern day Lowestoft, however, does not boast quite the same portfolio of watering holes.
In spite of various efforts to restore and revitalise the town's old pubs, barely a month seems to go by without news of another closure.
With the help of Google streetview, we've taken a look at some of the old jewels in Lowestoft's crown - showing what they were, and what they look like today.
