A Lowestoft man has completed a charity abseil from the summit of the highest helipad in Europe- raising money to support London's Air Ambulance.
Ben Cronin, 22, abseiled 284ft down the side of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
Mr Cronin, who studies Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, braved the abseil alongside his friend Shiva Kapur and has so far raised over £200 on his online donations page.
Mr Cronin said: 'It is so fantastic to have done my first ever abseil, not only with my best friend, but for a charity that really needs our help, not only in the continuation of the critical care that the medical team give to hundreds of people every year, but also in the funding of a much needed helicopter for the people of London.'
London's Air Ambulance CEO, Graham Hodgkin said: 'Our aim is to provide our patients with the world's most innovative and effective pre-hospital care.
'The proceeds from the abseil will go towards helping us achieve that aim. On behalf of all of us at the charity, I am extremely grateful to all of our supporters that have taken part in the event.'
