Lowestoft Scouts have just returned from Europe's biggest International Jamboree in Chelmsford
It was attended by 6,000 Scouts from 22 nations and supported by 2,000 volunteers.
The event, hosted at the 45-acre Boyton Cross site, had the 14th Lowestoft Scout Group among its attendees.
The camp had a central meeting point and stage, with ten smaller camps, named after European rivers, circling it.
The Lowestoft Scouts made their home at 'Danube'.
Daily activity zones ensured everyone could engage in different tasks, ranging from traditional bushcraft and shelter construction to tech zones focusing on computer graphics and laser cutting.

Evening hours saw the continuation of activities, including visits to different sub-camps.
The 14th Lowestoft Scout Group proudly presented English cream teas when they hosted their sub-camp.
Performances by bands and talent contests enlivened the nights; three 14th Lowestoft scouts entered the "Jamboree’s Got Talent" with a comedy act, a dance routine and football tricks.
Attendees exchanged badges, fostering new friendships.
Having savoured the fruitful experience, the Group intends to return for the next Jamboree in 2028.
